Frequently asked questions
See below for answers to frequently asked questions from customers
What is mulberry silk?
Mulberry silk comes from silkworms that exclusively feed on mulberry leaves. This results in a cleaner, stronger, and smoother fiber than other types of silk – and is considered the finest quality of silk you can find.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase.
What does 16 momme mean?
Momme is a measure of silk's weight and thickness. 16 momme is a premium quality that provides the ideal balance between fullness, durability, and an airy, breathable comfort.
Can a silk pillowcase really make a difference for my skin?
Yes. Silk creates far less friction than cotton, which reduces sleep lines, irritation, and mechanical stress on the skin. At the same time, silk absorbs less moisture, so your skin retains its natural moisture balance – and your skincare products stay on your skin throughout the night.
Is SkinEase good for hair?
Absolutely. The smooth silk surface reduces frizz, hair breakage, and split ends. Your hairstyle lasts longer, and your hair retains its natural moisture. It is particularly ideal for curly hair, extensions, and color-treated hair.
Can I use SkinEase if I have acne or blemished skin?
Yes. Because silk absorbs less moisture and sebum than cotton, it supports the skin's natural balance and can help prevent clogged pores. The reduced friction also lessens irritation on exposed skin.
How do I wash my silk pillowcase?
We recommend hand washing or machine washing on a delicate cycle at max 30 degrees with a mild detergent designed for silk. Avoid tumble drying – instead, let the cover air dry. This preserves the silk's quality and softness.
How often should I wash it?
Silk naturally stays fresh longer than cotton, as it collects fewer bacteria. We recommend washing every 7-10 days with daily use.
Do you have a returns policy?
Yes, you have a 24-month right to complain in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Contact us at skinease@outlook.com if you experience defects or deficiencies.
